Smiths Lake

Surrounded by a lush littoral forest and separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those wanting to enjoy waterskiing, boating, stand up paddle boarding or windsurfing.
With an impressive 32 square kilometres you can enjoy al the benefits of this calm sheltered waterway. But there are also magnificent beaches to explore. The picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach. There are barbecues and playgrounds in the lakefront reserve and you can hire boats, canoes, kayaks and catamarans from Frothy Coffee Boatshed.

Soak up the view from the deck at Frothy Coffee Boatshed at Smiths Lake or sip on Italian-style coffee at The Good Food Store, where everything sold is made from scratch on premises taking advantage of the abundant fresh produce the area has to offer. Pacific Palms Bowling Club, has a bistro serving classic Australian pub grub such as steak and chips and bangers and mash. Smiths Lake Bakehouse offers a variety of baked goods.
